Winter by Ruby H.

BRRRRRRRR can you feel the chill?

Winter

Winter .........

What is that I hear outside,

Wind gusts floating by.

Oooohh, how cold it is outside.

Grey clouds here and there,

Grey clouds everywhere.

I hear thunder booming by,

Now that is winter for you.

By Sahara.

Now, by clicking the link below, you can hear Sahara read her poem.

The Fossil

Paul who is a friend of Jesse's found this amazing fossil when he was digging down by Corbett Bridge. He found this treasure in a big load of dirt when it fell off and cracked open.
This weeks bloggers decided to create a piece of writing to guess how this fossil was created. They also wrote an acrostic poem.

We think the river pushed it up into the land. The crab got inside the rock by a secret passage way. The sand went over the crab and a rock smashed against the crab. An earthquake pushed the rock down and got the crab. Then the crab turned into a rock. A big wave splashed onto the rock and the rock crashed.

Fossil found by the bridge,
Over the other side of the river,
Some crab crawled into the rock,
Some orangey, red crab,
I think it is cool,
Like a funny looking old crab.
